Odia – Model Degree College, Sonepur

The Department of Odia at Model Degree College, Sonepur, established in 2016, is focused on the study of Odia language, literature, and cultural heritage. The department offers a rich curriculum that explores various facets of Odia literature, including classical, medieval, and modern works, as well as linguistic studies of the Odia language. Students engage with both literary criticism and creative writing, gaining a deep appreciation for the language’s literary and cultural significance.
